Input Curve

For the evaluation of the kinetic models, the concentration of parent (authentic tracer) in plasma needs to be available at any arbitrary time. It is calculated by multiplying the interpolated plasma concentration with the interpolated parent fraction at that particular time. The different blood-related informations are readily available for inspection in the curve area of the KM tab as illustrated below.

PKIN Different Blood-related Curves

Initially only the curves involved in the calculation of the operational equation are shown: the Input curve model and the Whole blood model, while the underlying information is hidden to avoid confusion. However, the Plasma model and the Parent fraction model can easily be shown by checking their display box in the control area.
