Short Background Presentations |

The presentations will provide basic information for the purpose of understanding the PMOD interfaces. They will include the following topics:
- Java - principles and basic techniques of object-oriented programming
- NetBeans as an example of a Java IDE for PMOD programming
- Developers Pack - content, installation and usage
- PMOD plug-in architecture
- Kinetic Modeling plug-in API
- Pixel-wise Modeling plug-in API
- Image Processing plug-in API
- Image Segmentation plug-in API

The examples will cover the implementation of the 4 plug-ins introduced in the background presentation part.

- Installation and setup of the development environment
- Plug-in programming based on provided source code examples

Notes:
- The participants are required to bring their own notebooks. At least 1GB RAM will be needed.
- We reserve the right for minor changes of the training content without notification.
- Beyond technical support of the PMOD Developers Pack, any other post-course support is not part of this course and must be arranged with PMOD separately.
- For using the PMOD Developers Pack, PMOD version 3.1 is required (which is also the version being provided on the USB flash key).
