License types
 |
Two licensing schemes are offered:
- Stand-alone licenses: With a stand-alone license PMOD may only be run by a single person at a time
who may run up to two concurrent sessions. A USB hardware key must remain connected to the computer. - Network licenses: A number of identical licenses are managed by a license server, which requires a
connected USB key. Arbitrary network clients can start PMOD as long as they can book out an unused
license from the server.

Shipment
 |
The PMOD software is shipped per Fedex as a single CD which works for the Windows, Linux and MacOS X platforms.
It is accompanied by a USB key which is required for using the program.
The purchased configuration is encoded in a license file which can be downloaded using a personalized support login on our homepage.

Upgrades
 |
PMOD is regularly upgraded by a product release and a maintenance release per year.
